getting lost in movement

Updated: Sep 17

This week, I'm thinking a lot about the sensation of movement.

Some of you may know that I'm a ballet dancer, and I am lucky to have performed this past weekend for the first time in about a year with my own dance company. During the run of our shows, I started to develop some small aches and pains that seemed to dissolve each time I stepped onto stage, under the lights.

Thinking about that yesterday I realized, well isn't that amazing? Movement can simply bring us into the moment, no room for anxiety or agitation but, instead, a full-body, dynamic, meditative state.

Check out my related 60-minute gentle energetic flow ondemand yoga sesh and allow yourself to become the movement, the poses, the transitions, the breath.
